They place junk food at checkout because they know our brains are wired to want sugary treats.

But you can beat all their marketing tricks by making your own delicious low carb snacks (including delicious Keto fat bombs).  Just follow our Keto snack recipes below.

You probably already know that you need to stick to real foods and fresh ingredients, but if you’re buying anything that come in a package, you need to check the ingredients label.

In particular, watch out for these 3 ingredients...

1.  Watch Out For Added Sugar 

Of course, you should look for added sugar in anything you purchase.  For example, some coconut milks or almond milks might have added sugar.  Many store-bought beef jerkys and pork rinds may also have added sugar.

And sugar can be called by many different names...from dextrose and corn syrup to natural sugars like cane sugar, honey, agave, and fruit juice.

2.  Watch Out For Wheat Flour 

Wheat flour and other flours are in a lot of prepackaged foods...it’s not just bread and pasta and desserts!

In particular, check the ingredients in sausages, meat mixtures, and soups.  Wheat flour is often used as a thickening agent.

3.  Watch Out For Processed Oils 

Many vegetable and seed oils like canola oil and sunflower seed oil are highly processed and very unstable.  

Most of these oils have been sitting on shelves for years before they even get to your home.  That means they’re rancid before you even start to eat them. And eating rancid oils is not only disgusting but also highly inflammatory for your body.

So, when you buy things like canned sardines or canned tuna or even fried vegetable chips, make sure they don’t contain canola oil, sunflower oil, or vegetable oil as an ingredient.  Go for products with olive oil instead!
