It is time to add a little fun to dinner. Everybody loves the idea of taco Tuesday. And, why not? It is a fun idea that keeps the family excited after all. But, having the same thing every week can get pretty boring. Especially if you are the only one on the Keto diet and you can’t enjoy the tortillas or taco shells.
Well, this Keto taco stir-fry is the best way to add a little adventure to the weekly routine. The whole idea behind this dish is blending all of those tremendous Mexican flavors into a simple to assemble stir-fry. This fusion comes together to create a delicious Keto meal that everybody is sure to enjoy.
How Does This Work Exactly?
On paper, this meal might sound completely strange. The fresh ingredients that bring a taco together are not the ones that you would typically find in a stir-fry. Tomatoes, lettuce, avocado? But, we are going to have to ask you to trust us on this one and give it a try before you knock it.
The idea works in a practical sense. Since we are frying up the beef anyways why not throw those last few ingredients into the mix and get things together a little early. You don’t have to cook everything until it is mush, but a little heat is not going to destroy things either. We definitely recommend the avocado goes in last, and if you want you can save the lettuce and present the mixture on top.

A Few Keto Ingredients You Can Add to Take This Over the Top
Here are a few ideas of Keto ingredients that would work well in this dish:
- Cayenne Pepper
Enjoy quick, tasty tacos without the carbs.
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) avocado oil, to cook with
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 Tablespoon (6 g) Keto taco seasoning, or to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1/2 tomato, diced
- Small handful of chopped iceberg lettuce
- 1 avocado, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice
- Add the 2 Tablespoons of avocado oil to a large skillet or frying pan.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned on medium high heat. Add taco seasoning, to taste.
- Then add in the red onion, tomato, and season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Saute until the beef is cooked. Then add in the chopped lettuce, avocado and squeeze in the lime juice.
