Ingredients: egg, almond flour, ghee, baking powder, vanilla extract, cacao powder, erythritol, stevia, salt.

In less than ten minutes, you can go from pantry to piping hot cake. It doesn’t get any better than this!

Keto Chocolate Brownie Mug Cake

– Keto Summit

keto chocolate brownie mug cake

Ingredients: egg, almond flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, cacao powder, cinnamon powder, stevia, salt.

This keto mug cake can be a great way to introduce the benefits of cacao as compared to cocoa as it has many anti-oxidants, but a much more defined flavor. This recipe takes only a couple of minutes to make, giving you a quick and easy cake for unexpected guests or for a simple snack to keep you going through a busy day.

One Minute Chocolate Brownie Mug Cake (Contains Dairy)

– Low Carb Yum

Ingredients: coconut oil, Sukrin Gold Fiber Syrup, vanilla extract, unsweetened cocoa powder, coconut flour, baking powder, heavy cream.

You know that feeling you get when only a brownie will do? Well here is the keto answer to that! A brownie that is rich and chocolatey, yet still low carb and delicious. It has a crumbly texture but maintains a gooier center so it even looks like a brownie. You can replace the fiber syrup with a granular sweetener like Swerve plus one egg, as the fiber syrup contains malt.

Registered Nurse Kate Doubler, RN, considers coconut flour to be one of her top go-to flours for baking. She says, “It is very absorbent and recipes containing coconut flour have a different ratio of wet to dry ingredients, so you can not use it as a 1:1 replacement for regular flour in your favorite recipes.” So be sure to follow recipes (like this one!) made for coconut flour.

Low Carb Mug Cake

– Ditch the Carbs

Ingredients: butter, almond meal/flour, cocoa unsweetened, granulated sweetener of choice, egg, coconut flour, baking powder, vanilla.

Mug cakes can be very useful as a really quick and simple snack to have mid-afternoon, and are a great snack for kids! They can even be allowed to make their own (with supervision)! If you or your family don’t like cocoa, add in a little more almond flour and flavor it with lemon extract or you could just make them vanilla and top with fresh berries.

Chocolate Cake in a Mug (Contains Dairy)

– Ketovale

Ingredients: egg, salted butter, almond flour, coconut flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, Swerve or any keto sweetener, vanilla extract, baking powder, walnut chips (optional), sour cream (optional).

This recipe would be perfect if you are having a busy day and just need a chocolate hit but without the added carbs. The cake is spongy and delicious with a good chocolate flavor and comes as an individual serving to enjoy with your coffee. All microwaves are different, so if this is your first attempt, cook for two-thirds of the time and test the center of the cake with a cocktail stick – if it comes out clean the cake is ready!

Super Easy Keto Chocolate Brownie Mug Cake (Contains Dairy)

– Low Carb Spark

Ingredients: butter, coconut flour, organic cocoa powder, egg, whipping cream, water or almond milk (optional), sweetener.

In this recipe, the egg and wet ingredients are absorbed by the coconut flour, so they don’t have an eggy flavor, but are still moist and squidgy in the middle. There is enough chocolate flavor to satisfy a choccy craving but still keeping an eye on the carbs. If you want to serve these on a plate, butter the inside of the mug and the cooked cake should slide out easily.

1 Minute Sugar-Free Chocolate Mug Cake (Contains Dairy)

– Sugar Free Mom

Ingredients: egg, unsweetened almond milk, liquid chocolate stevia or sweetener of choice, ground flaxseed or almond meal, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, coconut oil, water, whipped cream or dairy free whipped cream.

This recipe is for a microwave mug cake, but you also have the option to bake it in the oven if you don’t have a microwave. Adding the flaxseed meal will result in you getting a fluffier sponge cake consistency, but if you don’t have it don’t panic! You can use almond flour instead without affecting the texture too much. Like any new cake mix, it is better to taste it first before cooking so you can adjust the sweetness.

(No Sugar!) Flourless Keto Chocolate Chai Mug Cake

– Healthful Pursuit

Ingredients: cacao powder, epicure Poudre Douce, baking powder, egg, almond butter, chai tea, xylitol, stevia.

Here you get two different cakes from the same recipe, a spongy one and a fudgy one, so the choice is up to you! The only difference is one ingredient, so you can make whatever form your family prefers. You can also use water to replace the chai tea if you don’t have it, although you will miss out on the flavor. Serve these on their own or drizzle some melted chocolate over the top to finish it off.

Chocolate Brownie Low Carb Mug Cake

– I Breathe I’m Hungry

Ingredients: butter, almond flour, coconut flour, granulated sugar substitute, vanilla, salt, egg, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, 90% chocolate, pecans (optional).

Mug cakes are the best form of portion control and are ideal if you are only making the treat for one or two people. This one has a light and spongy texture with a fudgy center and is enough to satisfy any sweet craving. If you have a less powerful microwave you might need to adjust the cooking time and, like all brownie recipes, you are best to taste the mix before cooking to see if you need to adjust for sweetness.

Chocolate Cappuccino Mug Cake

– Craving 4 More

Ingredients: Nuzest Creamy Cappuccino Clean Lean Protein, Nuzest Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein, eggs, coconut oil, nut milk, baking powder.

This is the recipe I turn to when I start craving for a cappuccino and a slice of chocolate cake. Why not combine the two in a Keto-friendly way and enjoy a low-carb mug cake dessert without having to feel guilty, at all! Choose your favorite nut milk for this, and devour with a cup of ketogenic coffee or tea.

Low Carb Chocolate Mug Cake with Coconut Flour

– Sweet as Honey

Ingredients: egg, stevia, unsweetened almond milk or milk of your choice, baking powder, almond meal, coconut flour, unsweetened cocoa powder.

What I specifically love about mug cakes is that I don’t have to worry about the leftovers. They tend to call for me until there isn’t a crumb left… A ketogenic dessert such as this low-carb chocolate mug cake is the perfect portion you can enjoy after dinner, or as an afternoon pick-me-up. I prefer using almond milk for this recipe but you can choose your favorite among other plant-based milks. Make sure you’re using unsweetened cocoa powder, and add stevia for extra sweetness, instead.

Low Carb Hot Chocolate Mug Cake

– Step Away from The Carbs

Ingredients: flaxseed meal, egg, sugar-free chocolate-flavor sweetening syrup, unsweetened cocoa powder, coconut oil, baking powder, low carb marshmallow.

The flaxseed meal in this keto-friendly mug cake recipe is a great addition to your diet! If you haven’t tried it before you may want to introduce it to your diet slowly (although you’re going to feel tempted to make this recipe every single day…) This ketogenic hot chocolate mug cake makes me feel like it’s Christmas all over again!

The Best Keto Lava Cake – Low Carb Molten Mug Cake with only 4g Carbs (Contains Dairy)

– Low Carb Spark

Ingredients: cocoa powder, eggs, heavy whipping cream, sweetener erythritol, vanilla extract, baking powder.

When I started my Ketogenic diet, the one thing I thought I was going to miss most was lava cake. I wish I had known about this low-carb mug cake version of molten lava cake, back then! It’s going to make you forget all the others you’ve tried before, and you won’t have to worry about what’s in it. With only 4g carbs you can be sure this won’t kick you out of ketosis! This one includes heavy whipping cream, but if you wish to go dairy-free you can use your favorite alternative instead.

Keto Mug Cakes With Fruit

Keto Lemon Poppy Seed Mug Cake (Nut-Free)

– Keto Summit

Keto Lemon Poppy Seed Mug Cake (Nut-Free) #recipe https://ketosummit.com/keto-lemon-poppy-seed-mug-cake-nut-free

Ingredients: egg, lemon juice, coconut cream, coconut flour, erythritol, stevia, baking powder, poppy seeds.

This Keto lemon poppy seed mug cake makes a perfect topper for any meal, and you won’t even have to start it until everybody is done eating.

Sugar-Free Lemon Mug Cake

– Sugar Free Mom

Ingredients: egg, lemon juice, heavy cream, lemon liquid stevia, coconut flour, baking powder, salt.

This is a great recipe to try if your family don’t do coconut too well, as the taste of the coconut is masked by the lemon so they won’t even notice it’s there! However, if you are dairy-free, you can swap the heavy cream for coconut cream for an even healthier snack. Lemon desserts are a great way to round off a family dinner on a lighter note – not only that, these take only minutes to make!

Strawberry Mug Cake (Contains Dairy)

– I Breathe I’m Hungry

Ingredients: butter, granulated sugar substitute, almond flour, coconut flour, egg, strawberries, baking powder, vanilla extract, salt, heavy whipping cream.

These mug cakes are so quick and easy that you could rustle some up in a matter of minutes! You can either use mugs or paper cases to cook them in and it doesn’t even matter if they turn out a bit on the ‘rustic’ side because you are going to top them with a dollop of cream topping and a slice of strawberry! Perfect for a party or as a gift for a friend!

Raspberry Cream Cheese Mug Cupcake (Contains Dairy)

– Modern Low Carb

Ingredients: butter, almond flour, egg, sugar substitute, vanilla extract, baking powder, almond extract, cream cheese, raspberries, salt.

If you are new to keto and are still missing bread, mug cakes can help you get past this stage as they give you the same sort of spongy texture as bread or cake, but without all the nasties! These cakes turn out beautifully and studded with berries which give fresh flavors and juiciness to the cake. These would be great for a fast breakfast, or top with coconut milk for a quick and easy dessert.

Keto Lemon Blueberry Mug Cake

– All Day I Dream About Food

Ingredients: coconut flour, Swerve, lemon, baking soda, salt, eggs, coconut oil, coconut milk, lemon extract, stevia extract, frozen wild blueberries.

These lemon and blueberry mug cakes are not only low-carb, they are also gluten-free, so ideal for family members who are gluten intolerant. They have wonderful hidden pockets of blueberry juiciness hidden in the sponge, which is light and fluffy. These cakes are quite filling, so use smaller coffee cups as your mug cake molds, especially if these are for children.

3 Minute Lemon Poke Cake Low Carb

– Beauty and the Foodie

Ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, Swerve or sweetener of choice, unflavored gelatin powder, baking powder, sea salt, butter or coconut oil, lemon juice, lemon extract, egg.

If I were to tell you it’s possible to make a beautiful, mouthwatering and completely ketogenic lemon cake in 3 minutes, would you believe me? I know; I had my doubts about it, too, but this simple recipe proved me wrong. This is the perfect thing to make when surprise guests knock on your door, and I bet they won’t believe when you tell them it’s low-carb. The best thing about poke cakes is that they are super moist and flavorful!

Other Keto Mug Cakes

4-Ingredient Keto “Peanut” Butter Mug Cake

– Keto Summit

4-Ingredient Keto "Peanut" Butter Mug Cake #keto https://ketosummit.com/keto-peanut-butter-mug-cake

Ingredients: egg, nut butter of choice (such as almond butter or hazelnut butter), erythritol, stevia, baking powder.

Your Keto diet shouldn’t stop you from enjoying yummy cake! Try this 4-ingredient keto “peanut” butter mug cake the next time you want an indulgent treat.

Keto Matcha Mug Cake

– Keto Summit

Keto Matcha Mug Cake Recipe #keto https://ketosummit.com/keto-matcha-mug-cake-recipe

Ingredients: egg, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, matcha powder, coconut cream, Stevia, salt.

Matcha is traditionally consumed as a beverage, mixed with hot water at tea ceremonies. But most of us drink matcha mixed with other creamy ingredients. Nowadays, matcha is a great flavor to add to desserts because the slightly bitter matcha flavor goes ridiculously well with cream and sugar!

Keto Vanilla Mug Cake

– Keto Summit

Keto Vanilla Mug Cake Recipe #keto https://ketosummit.com/keto-vanilla-mug-cake-recipe

Ingredients: egg, almond flour, coconut flour, ghee, baking powder, vanilla extract, stevia.

Although this vanilla mug cake is keto and low-carb, it does have some carbohydrates. And even your best-of-intentions coconut cream frosting may push you over the edge. OK, you know that frosting might be overkill when your ketosis is on the line. But what about some berries? Berries tend to have less carbs than fruits like bananas, but some are better than others. Blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries are your best options. Top your cake with just enough to add some flavor.

Snickerdoodle Mug Cake

– All Day I Dream About Food

Ingredients: Swerve sweetener, ground cinnamon, almond flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, salt, egg, butter or avocado oil, water, vanilla extract.

The cinnamon in this mug cake gives a subtle warmth and turns it into aromatic comfort food. Just imagine tucking in to one of these with a hot cup of tea on a chilly day, or even using it to warm you for a delicious breakfast! The recipe calls for ingredients that most of us will already have at hand, so it doesn’t involve a special trip to the store, and can be ready to eat in a matter of a few minutes.

Birthday Mug Cake in Minutes

– Low Carb Yum

Ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, coconut oil, almond milk, egg, Natvia, vanilla extract.

I often find a birthday cake that a lot of it goes to waste, especially if your kids are grown and have flown the nest! So I was delighted to find a recipe that tastes as special as a birthday cake, but is a more personal size. You can make whatever frosting you prefer to make this your own, but however you decorate it, you end up with a yellow spongy cake to satisfy your sweet tooth and help celebrate your big day!

Keto Cinnamon Roll in a Mug (Contains Dairy)

– Fit Mom Journey

Ingredients: almond flour, baking powder, cinnamon, Truvia, butter, egg, cream cheese.

Cinnamon rolls can be a lovely warming start to the day for a satisfying breakfast, or eaten as a snack mid-afternoon to keep you going till dinner, but either way, this recipe can fit your needs quickly, as they take just a couple of minutes to get ready. These have a strong cinnamon flavor, so feel free to tone it down if you prefer a hint of cinnamon instead.

Matcha Mug Cake (Contains Dairy)

– Everyday Maven

Ingredients: egg, pure vanilla extract, unsweetened non-dairy milk, matcha, monkfruit sweetener, butter, coconut flour, baking powder, ground sea salt.

Matcha is a green tea that is full of anti-oxidants and is very healthy, but one of the best things about using it in this recipe is that it turns the cake green! When my kids saw it they couldn’t wait to try it as they are obsessed with strong colors! If you leave the cake to rest for a couple of minutes, you will find the sides pull free from the mug, making it easier to remove.

Perfect Keto Collagen Mug Cake

– Perfect Keto

Ingredients: eggs, full fat coconut milk, nut butter, baking powder, Pink Himalayan salt, raw cacao powder, Perfect Keto Collagen, liquid stevia (optional), ghee (optional).

We all know the benefits of collagen in healing gut problems and looking after the health of our joints, skin and hair, but I was surprised that it could be put into a cake! This recipe results in a warming and satisfying cake in a mug that you can enjoy anytime from breakfast onward. If you find it a little dry on its own you can serve it with a little ghee over the top.

Low Carb Pumpkin Mug Cake

– My PCOS Kitchen

Ingredients: pumpkin puree, unsweetened almond butter, unsalted butter, egg, stevia powder, baking powder, cinnamon, ground cloves, nutmeg, ground cardamon.

Thanks to the pumpkin puree, this mug cake is slightly moister than some, but the overall flavor is delicious! These would be quick and satisfying treats to make near Thanksgiving, or as an alternative to a dessert, as the cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves give this cake a true pumpkin pie flavor. These cakes taste just as good served hot or cold.

Green Tea Mug Cake

– Keto Delivered

Ingredients: egg, green tea protein powder, almond flour, baking powder, erythritol, coconut milk.

Here is another quick and easy recipe that uses green tea as the main flavoring. As this flavor can be quite fresh, these are a good idea to make for breakfast, especially if you are short on time first thing in the morning. They can be sweetened to whatever level you prefer, and only take about a minute to cook. The calorific value of these is quite high, so don’t be tempted to over-indulge if you are watching your weight!

Low Carb Coconut Flour Mug Cake

– Drop the Sugar

Ingredients: coconut flour, eggs, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, Swerve sweetener or other granulated sweetener, unsalted butter, vanilla extract, salt, baking powder.

If you’re not that big on chocolate, you may want to try this yummy Keto coconut flour mug cake instead. Pair this with a cup of coffee and you’ll get a wonderful end-of-meal treat. I love adding the vanilla extract – I believe it enhances the flavor of the vanilla almond milk. Feel free to use regular, unsweetened almond milk if that’s what you have at hand.

Cinnamon Roll Mug Cake (Contains Dairy)

– Mince Republic

Ingredients: butter, almond flour, cinnamon, stevia or sweetener of choice, baking powder, egg, cinnamon, cream cheese, heavy cream.

I have been crazy about cinnamon rolls for as long as I can remember, so learning about this low-carb cinnamon roll mug cake recipe was super exciting! I do not miss the huge amount of sugar and carbs I used to consume along with the regular cinnamon rolls, but the aromas lingering in the kitchen when I was baking them. This keto mug cake made my home smell just as amazing!

And remember: you need to figure out what works for you and your body. Here’s 3 different ways you can get started on a Keto diet. Try them and see which one works for you!
