Keto Pumpkin Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of coconut oil
  • 1 yellow onion (110 g), chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves (15 g), chopped
  • 1 lb (450 g) of ground turkey
  • 1 can (400 g) of diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup (240 ml) of pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (240 ml) of chicken broth
  • 1 Italian sausage (75 g), sliced 
  • 4 teaspoons (8 g) of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) of ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) of salt

Instructions

  1. Place a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the coconut oil to the pot and let it heat up.
  3. Add the onion and garlic. Saute for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the ground turkey and break it while cooking. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients and bring the mix to a simmer.
  6. Simmer for 15 minutes over low heat (lid off).
  7. Serve with desired salad.
  8. Enjoy!
