Keto Beef and Onion Stew

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) of olive oil
  • 2 lbs (900 g) of lean beef, cubed
  • 1 onion (110 g), peeled
  • 5 garlic cloves (15 g), peeled
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) of tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) of salt

Instructions

  1. Take a stew pot and place it over medium heat.
  2. Add the olive oil and let it heat up.
  3. Add the beef and cook until brown.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients and cover them with water.
  5. Bring the whole mix to a boil.
  6. Lower the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1-2 hours until the beef is cooked thoroughly.
  7. Serve hot!
