Description
Asian flavors help to accentuate the richness of beef liver.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (454 g) beef liver, whole
For the dip:
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) tamari sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sesame oil
Instructions
- Place the beef liver into a pot covered with water and bring to a boil. Boil for 2-3 minutes and then pour the water with the scum out. Refill with fresh water and boil for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the dip by mixing together all the dip ingredients.
- Let the beef liver cool, then slice it thinly and enjoy with the dip.
