Keto Hamburger Soup Recipe

Description

This creamy soup will replace all your hamburger cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) avocado oil, to cook in
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 4 stalks of celery, diced
  • 1 zucchini, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3 cups (720 ml) of bone broth
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 10 basil leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Add avocado oil into a large pot.
  2. Saute the ground beef until completely browned.
  3. Add in the carrot, celery, zucchini, onion and brown slightly.
  4. Pour in the 3 cups of bone broth and add in the tomatoes, bay leaves.
  5. Bring to a boil, and then turn down the heat and let simmer with the lid on for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove the bay leaves, season with salt and pepper, to taste and add in the chopped basil leaves.  Then serve.
