Keto Ham Recipes: Keto Ham Breakfasts

Ham and Spinach Mini Quiches

– Paleo Flourish

36 Healthy But Hearty Keto Ham Recipes - www.ketosummit.com/keto-ham-recipes

Ingredients: eggs, ham, spinach, leek, coconut milk, baking powder, salt, pepper.

This little crustless quiche recipe has the perfect balance of meat and vegetables, making it super-tasty and perfect for breakfast, as a quick snack or with fresh salad leaves for lunch. These taste just as good cold so would be great to take to work or pack in the kids’ lunchboxes. Just be a bit careful to taste the mixture before you add the salt as the ham can be salty enough, depending what type you use.

Super Quick Scramble

– Paleo Flourish

36 Healthy But Hearty Keto Ham Recipes - www.ketosummit.com/keto-ham-recipes

Ingredients: eggs, baby bella mushrooms, red bell peppers, spinach, deli ham, coconut oil or ghee, salt, pepper.

Quite often we search for a quick and easy recipe for breakfast and we forget that scrambled eggs take a matter of minutes! This dish can be so versatile as you can add in whatever leftovers you have in the fridge. Instead of the ham, you could use sausage, turkey or pulled pork – the choice is yours! One thing to remember is that overcooked scrambled eggs can turn watery very quickly, so keep an eye on them!

Low-Carb Ham And Egg Cups (Contains Dairy)

– Ditch The Carbs

Ingredients: ham, eggs, full-fat milk or cream, spring onion, bacon, cheese, various vegetables.

This is a versatile keto recipe as the ham and egg cups can be made as simple or as complex as you like! Add in loads of veggies diced small for fussy eaters, or some breakfast sausage chopped through the mix for added protein. If you are adding extra chopped vegetables, this would be a great way to use up the leftover ones from the previous day. You can use onion, peppers, mushrooms or whatever you have.

Keto Ham, Cheese & Zucchini Breakfast Bake (Contains Dairy)

– Keto Diet Blog

Ingredients: yellow onion, garlic, ghee or virgin coconut oil, zucchini, soft goats cheese, kale, chives, parsley, marinara sauce, sea salt or pink Himalayan salt, cracked black pepper, eggs, Parma ham, almond flour, extra virgin olive oil.

This dish looks so pretty with its zucchini and Parma ham topping and would be lovely to serve for breakfast if you had guests staying over, or just for the family at the weekend. It is protein and flavor rich and is quite easy to put together. This bake tastes really good served cold, so it makes a great breakfast recipe standby for serving several days in a row. If you don’t like goat’s cheese just use whichever is your favorite.

Green Deviled Eggs and Ham

– Maria Mind Body Health

Ingredients: eggs, bacon, mayonnaise, vinegar, avocado, fine sea salt, chives, thinly shaved ham.

These eggs look so good that they would be great to serve for a St. Patrick’s Day party! They have a slight tinge of green from the avocado and it also helps make the filling soft and creamy. Served with the ham slices, these delicious eggs make a great keto-friendly lunch or even an appetizer for a dinner party. You can change the topping if you like – thinly sliced and diced red onion works well here.

Ham & Arugula Quiche with Creamy Havarti & Smoked Gouda Cheese (Contains Dairy)

– Low Carb Maven

Ingredients: Honeyville almond flour, eggs, Garlic and Herb Seasoning Blend, ham, shallots, onion, arugula, oil, nutmeg, heavy cream, havarti cheese, Gouda cheese, tomato.

Quiche is a very versatile dish to make as it can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner and goes just as well warm with roasted vegetables or cold with a fresh green salad. This quiche recipe has loads of flavor from the ham and cheeses and the smoked Gouda adds a special note to the taste. However if you can’t source it locally then it is fine to use whatever smoked cheese you can get.

Ham & Veggie Skillet with Crispy Egg

– Modern Low Carb

Ingredients: egg, brussels sprouts, cauliflower florets, asparagus spears, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, ham steak, salt, pepper, oregano.

Here is another of my favorite one-pot wonders that is so easy to make and cuts down on the washing-up! You end up with a flavorful and protein-packed dish topped with a runny egg that just makes you want to dive in! The vegetables in this keto ham recipe can be changed for others if you like – for example mushrooms and spinach work really well here.

Ham Benedict

– Modern Low Carb

Ingredients: egg, hollandaise sauce, ham steak or thin ham slices, butter, parsley, salt, pepper, paprika.

Eggs Benedict has been served in the best hotels for years, but now it is so easy to make your own so you can go up-market for breakfast at home. This dish has lots of taste from the ham and egg and is lavishly resting in the hollandaise sauce which adds extra flavor and a wonderful creamy texture. I have often served this keto meal for a special occasion like a birthday breakfast or for Mother’s Day.

Keto Ham Recipes: Keto Ham Snacks

Easy Deviled Ham Salad

– I Breathe I’m Hungry

Ingredients: cooked ham, dill pickles, fresh parsley, onion, garlic, sugar-free mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Sriracha or other chili sauce, lime juice.

The first time I tried making this deviled ham salad recipe I literally had to fight the family off to be able to taste it! It works well in so many ways that I am often asked to bring some to parties and family meals. I usually serve the salad with crackers but I have also used it with lettuce wraps and hollowed-out cucumber pieces which turn it into finger-food for light summery lunches and is very popular with the kids.

Ham and Cheese Frittata Muffins (Contains Dairy)

– Low Carb Yum

Ingredients: eggs, cooked ham (Jamon de Bola), Queso de Bola (Edam cheese), red bell pepper, green bell pepper, mozzarella cheese, olive oil, salt, pepper, cayenne powder (optional).

Here is another handy muffin recipe that will give you tasty muffins for keto breakfast or to enjoy as healthy snacks during the day. They are really easy to make and are portable too – a great idea for lunchboxes or to eat on the go when you are traveling. These lovely muffins can be batch-cooked and stored in the fridge, but they can also be frozen then reheated in the oven for a few minutes.

Low Carb Ham and Cheese Hot Pocket Made With Fathead Dough (Contains Dairy)

– Low Carb Maven

Ingredients: Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, almond flour, whey protein powder, baking soda, deli ham.

For those of us who really miss bread now we are on the Keto journey, fathead dough is the best, and this recipe is bound to go down well with the whole family, Keto or not! You can eat them as they are or turn them into pizza pockets by using pepperoni instead of ham and stirring some oregano into the dough. If you find the dough is too soft to handles, chill it in the refrigerator for around 30 minutes to firm it up.

Hot Ham And Cheese Dip (Contains Dairy)

– Buns In My Oven

Ingredients: onion, butter, diced ham, cream cheese, Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, Provolone cheese, chives.

This keto ham recipe is typical of good ways to provide a delicious dipping treat but without breaking the low carb rules! You can eat this with crackers, but it also works well with veggie wedges or celery sticks. You can even ramp up the flavor even more by adding a bit of spice by adding some chili or cayenne – this is how I like to serve it for game or film nights with the family!

Sean’s Keto Ham and Egg Cups

– The Recipe Hunter

Ingredients: coconut oil or lard, ham slices, eggs, sea salt, black pepper, chives, (Optional: Basil Hollandaise – full-fat egg mayo, basil leaves).

These lovely little ham and egg cups are delicious for breakfast, but even better when you are looking for something tasty but don’t want a big meal. A couple of these is enough to see you through and can help with the notion of eating only when you are hungry. If you are like me and have a problem with portion control, individual cups can make things a lot easier, especially if you are watching your weight.

Keto Ham & Zucchini Muffins (Contains Dairy)

– Aussie Keto Queen

Ingredients: zucchini, parmesan cheese, diced ham, eggs, sour cream, almond flour, baking powder, salt, pepper.

Don’t you just love it when recipes are quick to prepare! These little muffins make a lovely breakfast dish, or if you have a busy life, make a load of them when you have time then freeze them for eating through the week. If you want a drier texture you can squeeze the liquid from the zucchini or increase the amount of almond flour, but these are great as they are!

Ham Chive Cream Cheese Canapes (Contains Dairy)

– Keto Canape

Ingredients: ham, cream cheese, chives, grape tomatoes.

I have always been a great believer in making food look good so people will want to try it, and this recipe certainly didn’t disappoint! The little roulades have a spiral of ham and cream cheese, topped with chives and tomato and would be lovely served as an appetizer or as a canapé for a party. You can also add some garlic to the cream cheese for a slight alternative to the flavor.

Keto Deviled Green Eggs And Ham

– Sugar-Free Mom

Ingredients: hard-boiled eggs, avocado puree or guacamole, mayonnaise, coconut vinegar, fine sea salt, bacon, scallions, dried chives (optional), ham.

Deviled eggs make a great keto appetizer or a quick snack for the whole family to enjoy, and if you remind the kids about Dr. Seuss they will be keen to try “green eggs and ham”! These ones have a wonderfully creamy filling, and the crunchy bacon adds contrast in texture and saltiness to the flavor. Although the ham is not shown here, it can be used to increase the protein in this meal.

Ham Cream Cheese Pickle Roll-Ups (Contains Dairy)

– Wholesome Yum

Ingredients: cream cheese, ham, dill pickle spears, scallions.

Here is another great ham recipe for canapés that are guaranteed to please! After all, everyone loves ham and cream cheese, and teaming them with dill pickles adds a whole new dimension to the flavor. I find these go down really well on game nights with friends or family. If you want to make these look extra-good, use a really sharp knife to cut them, then you will have the perfect snack.

Keto Ham Recipes: Keto Ham Entrees

Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Ham Wraps

– Paleo Flourish

Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Ham Wraps Recipe [Paleo, Keto, AIP] #paleo #keto #aip - https://ketosummit.com/smoked-salmon-breakfast-wrap-recipe-paleo-keto

Ingredients: ham, cucumber, smoked salmon, coconut cream, green salad.

These tasty dairy–free wraps are ideal for a lunchtime snack or even for a healthy breakfast. They have a lovely texture since all the layers are sandwiched together with the smooth coconut cream. These are easy to eat, so they would be perfect if you are feeding kids. Or why not try turning them inside out – make cucumber cups, chop the meat and stir in the cream and fill the cups with the mix to make dainty finger food!

Easy No-Cook Raw Veggie Deli Meat Wraps

– Paleo Flourish

Easy No-Cook Raw Veggie Deli Meat Wraps [Paleo, Keto] #paleo #keto #deli #recipes - https://ketosummit.com/easy-no-cook-raw-veggie-deli-meat-wraps

Ingredients: zucchini, red bell pepper, avocado, parsley, romaine lettuce, deli ham, Paleo mayo, mustard.

Here is a great idea for a tasty lunch or quick dinner when you don’t want to cook. These wraps are very adaptable as you can use whatever veggies you have and whatever deli meat you prefer. If you want to jazz this recipe up a bit you can serve different colored bell peppers, a selection of meats and add in some cucumber and celery sticks too.

Rosemary & Mustard Crusted Baked Ham

– I Breathe I’m Hungry

36 Healthy But Hearty Keto Ham Recipes - www.ketosummit.com/keto-ham-recipes

Photo Credit: Mellissa from I Breathe I’m Hungry

Ingredients: mustard, mayonnaise, garlic, rosemary, freshly ground pepper, smoked ham.

Here is another really luxurious and decadent-looking keto ham recipe to serve up to friends and family! The ham takes on the flavor of the mustard and rosemary and because the meat is crusted, it stays moist and tender. Why not take advantage next time you see a large ham on offer in a store or at a farmer’s market? You will have loads to eat and plenty of leftovers to enjoy throughout the week.

Crock Pot Ham Cauliflower “Potato” Stew (Contains Dairy)

– Low Carb Yum

Photo Credit: Lisa from Low Carb Yum

Ingredients: diced ham, heavy cream, chicken broth, salt, garlic, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, cauliflower florets.

One of the best keto ham recipes has to be a hearty stew to satisfy the hunger pangs and stave off the cold during the winter months, so why not give this one a try! This is another recipe that is ideal to use up leftover ham after the holidays and is quite budget-friendly as you can use frozen cauliflower florets. You can also add in whatever other vegetables you have left over and you can also add in some arrowroot if you like your stew thicker.

Low Carb Three Cheese Ham And Broccoli Casserole (Contains Dairy)

– Peace, Love and Low Carb

Photo Credit: Kyndra from Peace Love and Low Carb

Ingredients: broccoli florets, olive oil, sea salt, pepper, ham steak, heavy cream, chicken stock, sharp cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, garlic.

Cheese and broccoli are perfect partners in this rich and satisfying casserole and it is a great dish to help use up leftover ham after the holidays! You end up with the ham and broccoli in a rich, cheesy sauce, and although this is quite a simple recipe, the dish is amazing! What a lovely combination of flavors and textures, and no side dishes required – perfect on its own!

Collards and Ham Hock

– Cavegirl Cuisine

36 Healthy But Hearty Keto Ham Recipes - www.ketosummit.com/keto-ham-recipes

Photo Credit: Michelle from Cavegirl Cuisine

Ingredients: collard greens, ham (pork) hock, water, sea salt, garlic, Sriracha, white vinegar.

Here is another great recipe if you are cooking on a budget! You will have a great meal with the ham hock and greens, but don’t throw away the cooking liquid as it makes a great base for soups! It has all the flavor of the meat, so just toss in a load of veggies and cook them down for an extra meal. If you can’t find collard greens, you can use kale or other cabbage instead.

Delicious Ham and “Potato” Soup (Contains Dairy)

– Maria Mind Body Health

Ingredients: cauliflower, celery, onion, cooked ham, chicken broth, Celtic sea salt, ground black pepper, cream cheese, capers.

Using cauliflower instead of potato is a great way to cut down on the carbs, yet keeping your food tasty, and this low carb soup is a great example. You have all the flavor of the ham in a creamy yet satisfying base and if you boil up the ham bone you will have enough broth for the next batch. My family is not too keen on capers, so when I make this I sprinkle on some crumbled cooked bacon to add a bit of contrast to the texture.

Baked Eggs in Ham Cups

– Oh Snap! Let’s Eat!

Ingredients: eggs, ham or turkey (smoked turkey), scallions (optional).

Baking eggs in ham cups is an amazing idea as they are easy to eat, look great and taste even better! After all, who doesn’t like ham and eggs? If you or your family prefer your eggs set completely, you could scramble them first or hard boil them and chop them up. You could also add some sausage under the eggs if you want a bit more protein in this recipe.

Low-Carb Ham and Cauliflower Casserole Au Gratin (Contains Dairy)

– Kalyn’s Kitchen

Ingredients: cauliflower flowerets, salt, diced ham, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, green onions, ground black pepper, cheddar cheese.

There is something so special about watching a cheese-topped casserole slowly bubbling and browning in the oven and it makes you think of childhood comfort food! This keto ham casserole is filling and full of flavor and the gratin topping sets it off so well! If you like, you could spice things up a bit by adding some jalapenos. This dish can be made to go even further if you add in extra veggies like mushrooms or broccoli.

Feel Good Soup

– The Castaway Kitchen

Ingredients: ghee or coconut oil, cremini mushrooms, garlic, thyme, pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, nutmeg, coconut vinegar, bone broth, coconut cream, riced cauliflower, baby spinach, nutritional yeast (optional), collagen peptides (optional).

This must be one of the quickest soup recipes I have ever tried, but the end result was amazing! This is a bowl of goodness that will fill you with healthy ingredients and brighten up even the chilliest days. I recommend using chicken broth as it sets off the flavors really well, but any broth would do. This soup freezes well so no excuse for not having a supply right through the winter!

If you’re under the weather the herbs and spices in this soup may just help you feel better. For example, Dr. Andrew Weil, M.D. says, “I think thyme can play an important role in treating mild health concerns. It can help to suppress coughs, and is a good antifungal.”

Ham And Spinach Frittata (Contains Dairy)

– Spoonful of Flavor

Ingredients: eggs, milk, olive oil, shallot, garlic, baby spinach, cubed ham, cheddar cheese.

Sometimes the simple recipes are the best! This one is so easy and gives you a wonderful frittata to enjoy for breakfast or as a light lunch throughout the week. It can even be portable enough to put in lunchboxes for work. This is also a great way to get your family to eat more spinach which is rich in nutrients as its earthy flavor is set off by the delicious ham.

Ham and Cheese Keto Stromboli (Contains Dairy)

– Ruled Me

Ingredients: mozzarella cheese, almond flour, coconut flour, egg, Italian seasoning, ham, cheddar cheese, salt, pepper.

I don’t know about you, but I think ham and cheese were made to be together! In this dish, you have layers of cheese and ham all wrapped up in a delicious cheesy keto pastry and it really is impressive so you could serve this with a fresh green salad for a dinner party main. I find that layered foods are popular with kids too, so this would make a super family lunch.

Ham and Cheese Hot Pockets (Contains Dairy)

– KetoVale

Ingredients: deli ham, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, almond flour, baking powder (optional).

If you don’t live in the US, hot pockets are a bit like toasties, but without the bread! They are quite quick to make and are lovely for breakfast or lunch. Kids love these, but remember to let them cool a bit first to avoid burning little tongues. If you like these for breakfast you could change the filling and use pre-cooked bacon and chopped boiled eggs for a different flavor, or add in some pepperoni to turn this recipe into pizza pockets!

Creamy Ham And Broccoli Casserole (Contains Dairy)

– My Montana Kitchen

Ingredients: diced ham, frozen broccoli, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic salt, onion powder, basil, smoked paprika, rosemary, thyme.

Here is another great keto comfort food recipe that makes a really tasty meal on a chilly day. The ham and broccoli go well together and the creamy sauce has loads of flavor from the herbs and seasonings. This is a one-pot meal – no need for any sides – as it has everything you need in one dish. The only change I made was to pre-cook the broccoli and dry it first before adding to the dish to avoid a watery casserole.

Low Carb Cheesy Ham Casserole (Contains Dairy)

– Baking Outside The Box

Ingredients: broccoli, ham cubes, onion, mushrooms, Colby Jack cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup (canned or homemade), eggs, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, sea salt, butter, water.

If you like comfort food then this casserole recipe will go down really well! You have chunks of ham and earthy broccoli all wrapped in a creamy mushroom sauce and topped with a crunchy, cheesy crumb. The first time I served this I was waiting for the usual comments about green bits, but no! The whole family enjoyed it and the crumb topping was declared a favorite!

Low Carb Amish Ham Casserole (Contains Dairy)

– Genius Kitchen

Ingredients: ham, onion, eggs, cauliflower, cheddar cheese or monterey jack pepper cheese, cottage cheese.

This keto ham recipe gives you a thicker type of casserole than you normally get, but it has all the flavors associated with a good ham and cheese casserole. If you like your food with a bit of spice then you could add in some jalapenos, but I made this for the kids and they don’t do spice! This is a one-pot dish which would be perfect for a mid-week meal as it only takes a few minutes to prepare.

Baked Ham and Cheese Cups (Contains Dairy)

– Hip 2 Save

Ingredients: eggs, deli ham, cheddar cheese, diced veggies (red bell peppers, red onion, and green onion).

If you are short of time during the week it can be difficult to find keto breakfast ideas that are quick enough to prepare, so you could try making these lovely ham and egg cups! These are delicious and pack a real protein punch to keep you going all morning. They also freeze really well so you can batch-cook at the weekend for breakfasts through the week. They are a great post-workout snack too!

Slow Cooker Ham and Egg Casserole (Contains Dairy)

– Step Away From The Carbs

Ingredients: butter, ham steak, green onions, cheese, eggs, heavy cream, black pepper.

This casserole reminds me of the traditional breakfast we had as kids on a Sunday morning – scrambled eggs with ham! Yum! And cooking this in a slow cooker frees you up for all the other jobs you have to do. If you want to add even more protein to the meal you could slice some mushrooms into the mixture before cooking, but I find this recipe is filling enough as it is.
