Keto Crockpot Pork Chops Recipe

A good quality broth can be used to slow cook the pork chops to perfection.


  • 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) of olive oil
  • 4 pork chops (640 g)
  • 1 large onion (115 g), peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup (150 g) of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) of warm beef or chicken broth
  • 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) of gluten-free tamari sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • chives, to garnish


  1. In a pan, heat the olive oil and grill the pork chops until browned on all sides. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, fry the onions and mushrooms until caramelized. Deglaze the pan with the broth then pour the mixture into a crock pot. Add the pork chops and cook for 3 hours on low. Remove the chops from the crockpot, season, and set aside covered, to keep warm.
  3. Transfer the broth and onion mixture into a clean pan and reduce over high heat to a thicker gravy. Stir in the tamari and serve the sauce with the chops.
  4. Garnish with chives.
