If your keto desserts feel like they’re missing something, they probably are. Learn to make this keto coconut whipped cream so your sweet treats will always have a grand finish!

What You Need to Make Whipped Cream

Unlike most of my keto recipes, this one does require kitchen tools. You’ll get the best results with a whipped cream maker.

Before you roll your eyes and say there’s no way you’re getting another kitchen gadget, hear me out. While I’ll admit its versatility is limited and it really serves one purpose, it’s not going to break the bank.

You can pick them up for less than $40. You will need some nitrous oxide whip cream chargers as well, which are often sold separately.

The other cool thing is that they’re not massive. You can easily find a spot for a whipped cream maker – it’s just a bit larger than an oversized water bottle.

If you’re not sold on the whipped cream maker, you can also make this keto coconut whipped cream with hand beaters or a stand mixer.

Most people have one of these readily available, so you don’t need to add to your culinary collection if you don’t want to.

The whipped cream maker might give you more airy results, but you’ll get the job done either way.

How Does This Whipped Cream Fit in My Diet?

Most diets aren’t steering you toward whipped cream. So you’re probably thinking there’s a catch.

There’s not.

This whipped cream is made completely differently than your conventional canister or tub of whipped cream.

There’s no dairy and no sugar.

That means that whatever your reason for striving for ketosis, whether it be weight loss or to help manage your blood sugar, this whipped cream works for you.

But you might still be scratching your head and wondering how and why. What’s up with the nutrition info at the end of the recipe? That’s helpful, sure, but what are you supposed to do with that information?

You can always keep it simple and just limit your carbs to no more than 25g a day. But many people want to fine-tune their diets or get better results.

If you’re ready to dive in and learn more, I have created an easy keto calculator you can use to do the math on your macros.

It uses your information to let you know the proper amount of carbs, protein, and fat you should be consuming each day.
