Description
Cabbage stew is tasty enough, but bacon makes everything better.
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons (45 ml) of avocado oil, to cook with
- 1/4 onion, peeled and diced
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 1 head of cabbage (purple or green), diced
- 2 cups (480 ml) of water or bone broth
Instructions
- Add avocado oil to a saucepan and cook the bacon and onions. Saute until the onions are translucent.
- Add in the cabbage and water to the saucepan. Bring to a boil and then turn the heat down and simmer with the lid on for 30 minutes.
