I love the concept of a stir-fry. Cuisine is best when it is not complicated. Asians knew what they were doing when they decided that all they needed was some of their best ingredients mixed with some savory sauce. There was one other secret ingredient that they are necessary to take it over the edge, heat. Put everything together and fry it high and fast, how much more straightforward can you get?
The other enjoyable part about stir-fry is that there are hardly any limitations. Meaning, no matter what your diet, you should be able to assemble a stir-fry that works just for you. This Keto broccoli beef stir-fry recipe is a perfect example of how great a meal this can be for everyone involved.

The Joy of Making Stir-Fry
I understand that cooking can sometimes be intimidating. Especially when on a Keto diet where you will often be exploring ingredients that are entirely new for you. However, I believe that anybody can make a delicious stir-fry. It is almost as easy as making a great salad, it just adds that one ingredient I was talking about earlier, heat.
When you consider how basic the idea is there is nothing to be afraid of. You already have your preferences of how much you like your broccoli cooked, and how well-done you enjoy your beef. Just take those into account, and you will provide yourself with a meal that is ideal for you.
Oh, The World of Ingredients You Can Add
This is your stir-fry. Even though this recipe below is exquisite as it is, I would always encourage you to make it the way that you would prefer. Honestly, I love the way that beef and broccoli work together, but what takes it over the edge for me is black pepper – like a lot of black pepper.
There is a world of other Keto ingredients that I would consider adding or exchanging in this dish. Here are a few ideas to get you started on your own stir-fry adventure:
One Last Quick Anecdote
Saying all of that about stir-fry being an expressive dish that is open to your own interpretations reminded me of an old saying we used to have in the restaurant. During late nights when there was live music to distract the customers we would open the menu for pizzas and stir-fries that would allow the customer to choose from our many ingredients and decide on their ingredients. We had to set one rule and it has followed me forever since because it is funny and true: “you cant make a stir-fry out of pickles and olives.”
