Being on a keto diet doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice having some sweet treats to satisfy those cravings. Quite the opposite! There are lots of delicious ingredients and recipes that can keep your sweet tooth happy.

This easy 3-ingredient keto coconut fat bomb sandwiches recipe is sweet, great to snack on, and even looks good. They are packed full of fat, low carb, and low sugar, which means they are the perfect sweet for a boost of energy at any point during the day.

Making the Perfect Coconut Butter

Full of flavor and fat, coconut butter is the perfect ingredient to use in your low carb desserts. Finding pure unsweetened coconut butter can be tough, though. The good news is making your own coconut butter is much simpler than you would expect!

You only need one ingredient and only a couple of minutes:

  1. Buy unsweetened coconut flakes – you will want a fresh bag so that the flakes have not lost any of their moisture.
  2. Put the coconut in a food processor (blenders may not work well for this) and blend the flakes until they are a smooth butter.

Voila! The result is a tasty ingredient that is useful for many keto recipes.

Finding the Right Chocolate For Your Diet

Chocolate lovers need not worry on a keto diet; there are still options where you can enjoy one of the greatest ingredients on the planet. It is all about finding the right chocolate for you.

The important thing to do is find a chocolate that has no added sugars and you are good to go. In fact, dark chocolate is not only keto-friendly, but it also has been known to have compounds in it that are great for heart health.

If you love chocolate as much as I do, there are lots of keto recipes sure to satisfy the chocolate monster. A piece of dark chocolate on its own can be satisfying enough, but here are some other chocolate options to keep the fanatics happy.

Easy to Make, Easy to Vary

The best part about these low carb coconut fat bomb sandwiches is that they only require three ingredients. Simple and sweet. But, that doesn’t mean that you can’t add your own variations to the recipe.

The coconut butter can be mixed with other ingredients to add some new flavors. Try adding some of these ingredients into your recipe:

  • Peppermint
  • Orange or lemon extract
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Tree nuts

Also, these delicious treats pair very well with strawberries or blueberries for a wonderful dessert.
